Director, screenwriter and designer of movies such as Pan’s Labyrinth and Hellboy, Guillermo del Toro, is preparing his venture into the video game industry through the likes of publisher THQ. This news correlates directly with the recent interview del Toro had with MTV two weeks back.
“One of the things we’re announcing in the next few weeks is a big deal with a big company,” said del Toro during his interview with MTV. “We’re going to do games that are going to be technically and narratively very interesting. It’s not a development deal. We’re going to do it. We’re doing them. And we’re going to announce it soon enough.”
Del Toro has claimed to be huge fan of video games on multiple occasions according to CVG. With del Toro’s love here’s hoping to a truly unique and narrative experience headed our way in the future.
